Please let Dave know that the system has never sounded so good, I am delighted.

I am like many other music lovers....love my music but know so little about valves and electronics.....now I know a ” genius “ who has repaired and fettled my Einstein Preamp to an incredible standard, all carried out in such a friendly and helpful manner”. Thank you so much.  Tony Lewis

Very interesting amp brought in by new customer Rich, it was originally owned by his father. A replacement mains transformer, re-cap and new valves soon got it sounding awesome - and mega loud. I have a feeling this one will stay in the family!

Carl brought me a lovely set of valve mono-block power amps and preamp, based upon a Williamson design dating back to the late forties. They had been built in the mid nineties by a guy that clearly new his stuff. Lovely to work on and very knowledgeable client.
Wayne took a chance on buying this amp via EBay, he got a cracking deal, but the amp had a lot of background mains derived hum. It was traced to a faulty main PSU cap which was replaced , and it is rocking once more. Great amp, built like a tank!
Many Thanks to Clyde for his kind words, he brought his pride and joy to me, a lovely Silverface Twin Reverb, which needed some attention, and a couple of his guitars which had minor selector switch and earthing issues. Clyde impressed me with his willingness to understand the repair process and was keen to learn - pretty decent guitarist to boot !
Many Thanks to Mark for trusting me with his Fender  'Red Knob' Champ, Mark had done his research and decided a set of Torres mods would give him the sound he was looking for, and I have to say they transformed the amp. Mark also gets the prize for bringing the poorly-est output valve, (that was still actually working) that I have ever seen !
Many Thanks to Brian for trusting me with his Fender Twin Reverb' 65 re-issue, a powerhouse of an amp, fitted with Sovtek 5881s and biased accordingly, it has a blend of Fender cleans and a slightly mellow tone, perfect in my opinion. Can't wait to sort the rest of his awesome collection!
I featured Alex's amp (Marshall JCM2000 DSL100) on my Previous Projects page, Alex is lead guitarist with the Brookes, an up and coming young band, and definitely stars of the future (and I'm their amp tech - its official !)
I have worked on a couple of Paul's amps and as with most of my customers he is keen to understand how they work and what I propose to do on them. I'm sure it won't be long before he brings me another of his interesting projects to work on !
Michael brought me his awesome Audio innovations Series 500 class A amplifier, which I have featured on my previous project page. It was a pleasure to work on  and I am pleased to say it sounds beautiful.
" .... thank you for the restoration you undertook on my amp.  I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the finished result.  It looks and sounds amazing.  Your attention to details is second to none .... "

Stan is Grimsby's answer to Rory Gallagher, great player, his JTM60, The Twin & AD15R amps are featured on my previous projects page.
Rich is bass player (and youngest member!) of The Houseshakers, they play a great mix of '60s and '70s classics. Check them out on Facebook.
